The 30-Day Funnel Blueprint (No Overthinking, Just Action)
Read this article in clean Markdown format for LLMs and AI context.Look, I know you. You've got this incredible course idea. The content is basically ready to go. But the whole "selling it" part? That's where you're stuck. You're paralyzed by building the perfect website, or writing the perfect sales page, or creating a million freebies.
Hereβs the truth I tell everyone at Funnel Academy: The goal isn't a perfect, sprawling funnel. It's a profitable one. A simple track that gets real people from "Hey, I have this problem" to "Take my money, please."
And you can build that track in 30 days. I'm going to show you the exact 3-step blueprint I use with my clients. Let's stop planning and start launching.
Step 1: The 7-Day Foundation (Your "Why Buy?" Page)
Forget a full website. Your only job this week is to create one thing: a Sales Page.
Not a novel. A single, scrollable webpage that does three jobs:
- Agitates the Problem: Talk directly to the person you help. Describe their current frustration in a way that makes them nod and say, "Yep, that's me."
- Presents Your Solution: Introduce your course as the logical bridge from their current pain to their desired outcome. Be clear, not clever.
- Makes a Clear Offer: What do they get? How does it work? What's the investment? No fluff.
The Funnel Academy rule of thumb? Write this page in plain English, like you're explaining it to a friend over coffee. If you can't describe your offer in two sentences, it's too complicated.
Your Week 1 To-Do List:
- Pick a simple tool (Carrd, Gumroad, even a Notion page shared publicly).
- Write the Sales Page using the 3-point structure above.
- Add a clear "Buy Now" or "Get Started" button that links to your checkout.
- That's it. Seriously. Move on.
Step 2: The 14-Day Traffic Engine (Go Where They Already Are)
A funnel with no traffic is just a sad, empty road. But you don't need a million followers. You need focused traffic.
Don't try to be everywhere. Pick one channel where your ideal student already hangs out and show up there for 14 days straight.
Option A (My Favorite): Create 5-7 short, helpful posts or videos that solve a small piece of your course's big problem. Share them on LinkedIn, a Facebook Group, or Instagram. In your bio, link directly to your new Sales Page.
Option B: Reach out to 10 people who you know would benefit from your course. A simple DM: "Hey, I saw you were struggling with [their specific problem]. I just built a course on that. Would you like a free module to see if it's a fit?" This builds relationships and gets feedback.
The goal here at Funnel Academy is to validate that people want what you're selling before you build the whole thing. This traffic step is your reality check.
Step 3: The 9-Day Conversion Machine (The Simple Follow-Up)
Most people buy on the third or fourth touch. They visit your sales page, think about it, leave, and need a nudge to come back.
This is where the "funnel" magic happens, and it's simpler than you think. You need an Email Sequence.
Your 3-Email Sequence:
- Email 1 (The "Thanks"): Someone visits your page and signs up for a free, relevant lead magnet (like a PDF checklist or a short video lesson). Auto-send it with a PS: "By the way, the full solution to this is in my course [Course Name]. You can check it out here."
- Email 2 (The "Value"): 2 days later. Don't sell. Give another incredible free tip related to your course. At the end, softly remind them: "This tip is from Module 3 of my course. If you're ready to solve this for good, you can join us."
- Email 3 (The "Decision"): 2 days after that. Be direct. "I've shared a few ways to tackle [problem]. If you're ready to get the complete blueprint, now's the time." Include a clear link to your sales page.
This entire sequence runs on autopilot. You set it up once in a free tool like MailerLite or ConvertKit, and it works for you forever. This is the core principle I teach at Funnel Academy: automate the follow-up.
Your 30-Day Calendar, Simplified
- Days 1-7: Build your Sales Page (Step 1).
- Days refer to 8-21: Drive traffic from your one chosen channel (Step 2). Start your email sequence setup in the background.
- Days 22-30: Finalize and launch your 3-email sequence (Step 3). Start analyzing: Where are your clicks coming from? What questions are people asking?
By Day 30, you won't have a "finished" business. But you will have a working, high-converting sales funnel. You'll have a page that sells, a way to get people to it, and a system to follow up. You'll have real data instead of guesses. And you'll have your first few students.
That's the Funnel Academy way. Build the minimum viable track. Launch it. Then refine it with real people and real results. Stop letting the dream of a perfect system stop you from building a profitable one.
Your course can change someone's life. But only if they can find it and buy it. Start with these three steps. I'm rooting for you.
